Her mind was fuzzy. Sharp pain stabbed at her body. Sounds of people yelling out orders and sirens filled her ears. What is this on my face? She tried to move her arms but found it painful. Everything looked like an old black and white movie playing in slow motion. She could see faint hints of red flashes but could not make out what it was. Where am I? What the hell is going on? She tried once more to move, open her eyes, yell, anything but her body just would not respond. She heard shouts above her. ma’am ma’am you do not want to move. We are taking very good care of both of you. Both of us? Who else is here? She tried to move again. Who else is here?? Ma’am please. You’re not helping us. Try to calm down. A bright light flashed before her. A calm rushed over here body like a cool breeze on a summer night. All the sounds around her muted and seemed to drift away. Almost like her body had been picked up out of chaos and lied to rest in a tranquil garden. Who…else…was with…m… She never got the lost thought out before everything went pitch black.

Hey angel. Its time to get out of bed now.
Carefully she opened her eyes. She was greeted by a warm face. He leaned over and kissed her nose.
Morning angel. I did not think you were ever going to get up. We have to get a move on it if we want to see your entire list today.
She looked up at him. Grrrr. I wish I had your perk in the morning.
He slapped her playfully on the butt. You are the one who said we had to get out of here early. Remember? He made his squeaky voice, rain or shine we have to get out and brave the cold to see the grapes before we drink them.
She slid up on the pillows wrapping the sheet around her body. I do not sound like that. However, you know, we could always stay here. She reached out for him but he jumped up right before she grabbed him.
Nooooo. He grabbed her hands with his. We did not fly thousands of miles to stay in a motel and sleep. He smiled down at her.
God I love his smile. From the first day, I met him. He flashed me his gorgeous smile and I was hooked. That was almost a year ago and it still gives me butterflies.
C’mon, let’s get going.
All right, all right. I’m going. However, if this was our last day on earth…
You would still get up late. He laughed. c’mon lets go.
